Permit Room is an all-day bar-café serving up delicious breakfasts, seriously good bar snacks, moreish curries, and plates for sharing (all with a selection of signature Dishoom delights). There’s also a knock-out line-up of cocktails to wash it all down with. Local DJs are on the decks, spinning worn vinyls and favourite grooves. It’s our tribute to the way Bombay kicks back and cuts loose – a salute to the city’s permit rooms, beer bars and drinking holes. Opening its doors in March 2026, Permit Room Liverpool will bring Bombay spirit to one of the most welcoming cities in the country. We are building a friendly and supportive team who enjoy working with pace, positivity and genuine care. Roles at This Permit Room
We will be hiring for a range of bar and hospitality roles at Permit Room Liverpool, an exciting new opening arriving in March 2026. Whether you’re looking for FOH, Bar, Kitchen or Management opportunities, you can expect great training, progression and a warm team culture.
We are recruiting Servers (Waiter/Waitress), Hosts (FOH Team Member/Senior Receptionist), Food Runners (Food Server/Service Assistant), Cocktail Bartenders (Senior Bartenders) and Bar-backs (Bar Support/Bar Team Members).
 Our kitchens will welcome Commis Chefs, CDPs, Tandoor Chefs, Curry Chefs, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs.
 We will also be hiring Floor Managers (Assistant Managers, Department Managers, Deputy Managers, Restaurant Managers) and Assistant General Managers.

We’ll start interviews in late November 2025, ready to build an exceptional team to bring Dishoom Liverpool to life in 2026! We pay on a monthly basis.</li><li>A full-time role working across 5 days, Monday - Sunday availability required.</li><li>A weekly changing rota provided at least 6 days in advance.</li><li>We're an all day dining Bar- Cafe meaning our teams work a variety of daytime and evening shifts (not the usual always late nights!)</li><li>Access to our award-winning training programmes and support. In Dishoom, we see every team member as valuable and important to ensuring the all-around brilliant experience for our guests. We’re looking for friendly, attentive and organised people to join our Permit Room Bar-Cafe team in Liverpool. Our Front of House Team/ Food Runner/Bar Support <ul><li>Deliver huge trays of food and drink to all of our guests, dealing with any special requests (e.g. allergies), and always make sure we have everything we need for a smooth shift!</li><li>You’re a Bartender’s right arm; anticipating their every need, and can always be relied upon on a busy shift.</li><li>A Bartender in the making - learning our specs from day one and closely shadowing some of the most big-hearted and talented Cocktail Bartenders in the Industry.</li><li>Work in a very big and busy environment. In Dishoom you can easily total an average step count of just over 20,000 steps per shift.</li></ul> So what are we looking for?<ul><li>If you haven’t worked in hospitality before, no problem, we’ll provide the right training and support to set you up for success.</li><li>Previous work experience in a role - minimum 6 months is preferred - any industry.</li><li>A willingness to learn about our food and drink, bar operation, and looking after people (guest and team alike).</li></ul> At Dishoom - everyone is welcome.
